Self-Serve Autogas Conveniently Located on I-94
Accepts Major Credit Cards and WEX Cards; Requires Pre-Approved PIN
Whether you have a fleet of one or a fleet of hundreds, Caywood Propane Gas, Inc. has a self-service Autogas Station conveniently located on Interstate 94 at Exit 127 (just 12 miles west of Jackson). Access is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We are not aware of any other Autogas Station located on a major interstate in Michigan. Our Autogas Station also is close to other major routes that run through Michigan — only 19 miles east of Interstate 69 and 11 miles west of US127.
Our Autogas dispensers accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and WEX. We do not accept cash or extend credit at this time.
Access to our Autogas Station is limited to drivers of customers who:
Submit an Autogas New Customer Application
Have received appropriate training from their employer or have completed our online Autogas Dispenser Training passed our Autogas Dispenser Assessment; and
Have a PIN and password issued by us that enables you to activate our Autogas dispenser.
Our state of the art system is fleet friendly. We can accommodate most unique fleet information capture requirements (e.g., mileage inputs, gallon purchase limitations, etc.). We also are able to accept appropriate fleet training, so your drivers avoid the necessity of completing our online Autogas Dispenser Training and Autogas Dispenser Assessment. Just complete and submit an Autogas New Customer Application.
Training and Approval Required Unless You Have Received Compliant Fleet Training
Michigan law and applicable national safety standards require all individuals to be “appropriately trained” on safety procedures and the operation of an Autogas dispenser.
Here’s what this means for you:
If you operate a fleet that has a training program that has both trained and documented all employees, agents and others that may dispense Autogas into motor vehicles as part of their duties to you, we may be able to issue IDs and PINs to each of your employees. Under this standard your employees would not be required to participate in our online Autogas Dispenser Training and pass our Autogas Dispenser Assessment. We reserve the right to review or audit your training program and documentation to insure that your employees meet the appropriate training standard.
If you operate a fleet that does not have an appropriate training program and/or documentation of appropriate, your employees will be required to participate in our online Autogas Dispenser Training and pass our Autogas Dispenser Assessment before being issued a PIN to operate our propane dispenser.
You or your business may be required to provide proof of liability insurance.
